Engaging with Suppliers to Support Local Economy

As part of our commitment to working with local businesses, Osborne will be hosting a Supplier Engagement Day with partners Slough Borough Council on 4th December.

Last December, Osborne commenced a £140m, 10 year contract with the Council to provide a wide range of services to over 7,000 homes including mechanical and electrical, compliance, repairs, voids and cleaning.

A key aim of the partnership is to work with local suppliers and contribute to employment opportunities to help create a thriving community.

The engagement day, to be held at our joint office in Langley, will give local trades and suppliers the opportunity to meet with us to understand the scope of works we have on offer and see how we go about our work.
Hosted alongside procurement and supply chain management service provider Construction Line, the event will begin with breakfast rolls followed by presentations outlining the scope of works across the contract, expectations and our working culture.

Osborne Property Services Managing Director Carol Bailey, who will be opening the event, said: “Thanks to co-location and a positive, collaborative approach our partnership with Slough Borough Council has already become truly embedded in the local area.

“We are fully committed in supporting local businesses and I am looking forward to meeting potential new suppliers at the engagement day.”
