Slough Resident benefits from Kitchen Transformation

Osborne is delighted to have completed the first kitchen installation at Calstock House, Langley.  The kitchen was completed this week as part of an on-going planned kitchen and bathroom replacement programme where local residents will benefit from the improvements.

Resident Mrs Josephine Tinald on completion of her kitchen was met by Councillor Mohammed Nazir, Cabinet Member for Corporate Finance & Housing who presented her with a bouquet of flowers.

Mrs Tinald commented on her experience ‘Whilst I was a little apprehensive about the amount of work involved, I needn’t have been. I felt very reassured thanks to Jessie Stubbs, Resident Liaison Officer.  Jessie was available both before and during the works, and kept me up-to-date with what was happening and when.

I’m also very grateful to all the workers for being polite and helpful in my home. They even completed my kitchen 3 days ahead of schedule.  I’m now looking forward to cooking my Sunday roast!’.

Councillor Mohammed Nazir commented ‘This significant investment to improve homes across the borough is part of our commitment under the Repairs, Maintenance and Investment Contract with service partner Osborne. Just over a year into our partnership, our joint vision is to create new local employment opportunities, sustain existing jobs and to enhance our local community.”
