Being Mindful

Osborne is offering an introduction to ‘mindfulness sessions’ to its people this month, over two days.

Last week, Osborne, along with many others in the industry, took part in ‘Time to Talk Day’ takes place – a day where everyone was encouraged to have a conversation about mental health.

Mental health problems affect one in four of us, yet people are still afraid to talk about it.

This year, Time to Talk was all about bringing together the right ingredients to have a conversation about mental health. Whether it ‘s tea and biscuits with close friends or a room full of people challenging mental health stigma, the aim was to get  people talking!

Having conversations about mental health helps break down stereotypes, improve relationships, aid recovery and takes the stigma out of something that affects us all. There are lots of different ways to have a conversation about mental health, and you don’t have to be an expert to talk.

Osborne will be shared support information with its people on Time to Talk along with posters, tips cards and suggested activities to support Time to Talk on its sites.
