Diabetes Roadshow

A diabetes roadshow will be hosted by Slough Council for Voluntary Service’s (SCVS) Wellbeing Prescribing Service in February.

Osborne Property Services and Slough Borough Council’s Community Development and Housing Development & Contracts Teams are partnering with SCVS on the roadshow, which will be visiting venues in Britwell, Chalvey and central Slough.

Diabetes is a major health problem in Slough, due to a significantly higher than national average proportion of people with diagnosed diabetes and low physical activity rates.

Local residents are invited to come along to one of the following awareness days in February.

 • Tuesday 19 February – HOME on the High Street, Unit 43-45 The Observatory Shopping Centre, SL1 1LE (old Topshop) – 11.00am-3.00pm

• Wednesday 20 February – Britwell Library/Community Centre, Wentworth Avenue, Slough, SL2 2DT – 10.00am-2.00pm

• Thursday 21 February – Chalvey Community Centre, The Green, Slough, SL1 2SP – 10.00am-2.00pm
