Surrey Access for All Scheme Milestone Achieved

Osborne celebrates a milestone success with safety at the fore.

Enormous congratulations to the Osborne team at Ewell West Station in Surrey, who recently delivered a highly significant milestone on the construction of the Access for All Scheme despite temperatures dropping to -4 oC!

Within a six  hour possession the team installed the two steel lift shafts and canopies using a 100 tonne crane.

Installation of the lift shafts was crucial to programme, but the team did not let the pressure affect their commitment to putting safety first.  The site and methods were “text-book” with numerous examples of best practice.

Since the site commenced, the team absolutely committed themselves to the programme, working day, night and weekends to overcome numerous challenges but still maintain this key milestone.
