Osborne and Lego bring Construction to life for budding engineers

Recently,  the team at Osborne’s Gade Valley Project held an Industry Introduction Session for local college students

25 students from West Hertfordshire College spent the day on site taking part in an induction and going on a journey of Information Management and BIM processes using IPads and the BIM360 app

The students had to build a Lego model of the London skyline using only the information held within the Autodesk BIM360 Project created for the session. This included a 3D model of the Lego set they were building and QA style checklists to be completed throughout the process

The students were given a site visit and a presentation around routes into the industry.

Dominic Lowry, Technology Improvement Manager at Osborne said: “ We were pleased to take part in this introduction session with the students. It was a great way to help raise awareness of not just Osborne as a business, but the variety of careers that are available to these students within the construction industry.”
