Farnham Bridge Possession Completed Ahead of Time

Well done to the Osborne team at Farnham who recently safely and successfully delivered the first of several possessions this year to refurbish the bridge deck and associated abutments.

Works included the installation of strengthening plates, brickwork repairs and soffit preparation.

Through efficient access and working the team managed to complete pressure washing not only to the soffit but also to additional areas to the external parapets and top and bottom flanges of the edge girders.  Brickwork repairs were also completed with no snags identified for sectional hand-back.

Working with our specialist supplier, we were able to develop an aesthetically pleasing solution for installation of the strengthening plates that removed the need to seal around 120 holes and made painting much easier.
