My role is quite varied and I feel like a jack of a few trades, from gaining approvals from site so we can pay invoices, to ordering mobiles, dealing with device issues and processing purchase cards for the Rail Reactive Team.

Do you have a motto you live by?

I have 2 actually – It isn’t my business what people think of me. And if you can’t love yourself how is anybody else going to love you? (Ru Paul)

In June we celebrate Pride Month, what does Pride mean to you?

As an openly gay and married woman, celebrating Pride is extremely important to me. So many men and women before my generation couldn’t  ‘come out’ or be with the person they loved, for fear of their own safety. They fought, not just for their rights, but for the generations to come. Today I can stand with pride alongside my wife, without fear and I can have children and not face discrimination. Pride to me is not just about celebrating the LGBTQI+ community, but for anyone that has ever been placed in the ‘different’ box by society. At the essence of humanity, we just want to love and be loved, so why discriminate, at the end of the day we are all the same.

Greatest strength/weakness?

My greatest strengths are also my greatest weaknesses. I am emotional, an empath and an over-thinker.
