Commemorating World Kindness Day – #BeKindBeSlough

Osborne took part in World Kindness Day, ‘#bekindbeslough’ earlier in the month.

The festival, which was hosted by the Slough Happiness Collective, took place at HOME on the High Street in Slough.

Osborne Property Services attended on the day, where over 120 people came together to participate in arts, crafts, singing, dancing and much more. Attendees also brought along their own artwork, which will contribute to Slough’s Kind Art Project and will be displayed in the centre moving forwards.

Guests also had the opportunity to experience and learn the five ways to well-being; ‘be kind to you, learn, be active, notice and connect’. There were other activities such as making re-usable tote bags, creating art, and donating food and clothing to Slough Foodbank and Slough Outreach.

Linda Tabor-Thomas, Trustee & co-founder of Slough Happiness Collective said: “Many thanks to everyone at Osborne for sponsoring our #bekindbeslough festival for World Kindness Day. The festival brought together more than 40 Community Groups, Artists, Performers, Wellbeing Providers and Charities all whom gifted their time and materials to spread happiness to people across Slough.”
