Osborne Charity of the Year 2020

We are delighted to announce that our Reigate Office will be supporting Stripey Stork as our chosen charity partner for 2020.

Stripey Stork is an award-winning Surrey based charity that has been working in the local community since 2013. The team collects donations of toys, clothes and other essential items for babies and children and, after checking they meet current UK safety standards, rehome them with local families experiencing hardship.

Since starting, Stripey Stork have passed on items worth an incredible £2,800,000 and this year will respond to over 3,500 requests for help from across Surrey and beyond. The charity was also recognised with the highest award a voluntary group can receive in the UK, the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, in 2019.

Their support will help us to further develop our service which delivers such a direct benefit to the most vulnerable families in our community.”

Our support for local charities raises thousands of pounds a year by engaging our people in Bake Offs, Dress Down days, raffles and various sponsored events.

To kick off the partnership, a team of 15 Osborne employees are using their ‘Community Day’ this week to volunteer at the charity. The team will be packing up clothing and other items, ready to go to worthy homes. We will also be supporting the quarterly campaigns the charity delivers throughout the year which include #Mum2Mum for Mother’s Day, #Stripes4Stripey, Run Reigate and the #SantaStork at Christmas.
