Winchester Kicks Off

Our Property Services Engagement Team were on hand with the half time oranges recently, ready to support ActiveMe 360 in delivering football sessions to children from across eleven districts in the Winchester Area.

ActiveMe 360 work within the local community promoting health and wellbeing using physical activity, sport, and education. We were proud to sponsor this community project which provided funding for medals, coaches and facility hire.

The safe, fun and engaging sessions were hosted by Winchester City Council and gave over 600 children the opportunity to learn new soccer skills during the October Half Term. The budding Harry Kane’s and Marcus Rashford’s then had the chance to put their new skills to the test as the week ended with an exciting tournament.

Neal Allison, Community Investment Manager told us; “It was great to see so much enthusiasm from the children, coaches, parents and carers. Despite the wet, autumnal weather, half term in Winchester really did ‘kick-off’ with high levels of participation across the district. The project allowed children within their local communities to come together and promote heathy living.”
