Connor Completes Apprenticeship

Apprenticeships offer so many advantages when it comes to attracting new talent and developing the best people for our business.

Connor Harris is just one of our ‘new talents’ who will complete his two-year plumbing apprenticeship this month within our Property Services contract for Slough Borough Council. Connor made a big impact during his training and we were delighted to offer him a full- time role at Slough.

Connor told us why he opted for an apprenticeship, “ I first came to Osborne on work experience and learned about the apprenticeship scheme during that time. For me it was the best way to learn and earn while getting invaluable experience. I was so pleased to be given the opportunity, it has been a good experience and I would recommend highly to others. I am really grateful and happy to be able to continue to work for Osborne and with such a great team who have helped me to achieve my dream.”

Vicky Fordham-Lewis, Managing Director for Osborne Property Services commented; “Our commitment to recruiting and developing skilled apprentices within the local areas in which we work is not only more sustainable, but they also bring with them new ideas, enthusiasm and encourage a more diverse workforce into construction.”
