Abri Selects Osborne as a Partner for £350m Construction Framework

Osborne has secured the opportunity to work with Abri, one of the South’s largest housing providers on their £350m framework to create much needed new homes across the South of England.

The Abri partnership aims to deliver 10,000 high quality sustainable homes over the next decade. Abri’s Framework will make a substantial contribution in alleviating the housing crisis, create environments and communities where people want to live, feel safe and prosper, so social value creation will go hand in hand with our construction activities.

Gordon Kew Manging Director Built Environment commented; “To be selected as a partner on the Abri’s Framework, is significantly important to us and a testament to our Group’s 15-year investment in offsite solutions with our Innovaré Systems, state-of-the-art, automated manufacturing facility. This enables our teams to progressively increase the proportion and value of efficient offsite components. which in turn increases certainty, quality of delivery and provides energy efficiency for Abri’s residents living in their new homes. Supporting the sustainability journey, we will draw on our property maintenance experience to inform the early designs and specifications to increase housing resilience and minimise ongoing maintenance liabilities.

We will also seek to add further value to the Abri Framework through our wider in-house development capability, creating new plots for the development of homes.”
