Plumstead Library Shortlisted in Design Awards

Now in its 31st year, the Design Week Awards are the leading accolade in the design industry and we are delighted that our project, Plumstead Library has been shortlisted.

Plumstead Library is a significant Grade II listed building perfectly located in the heart of Plumstead in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The renovations which completed earlier this year, now provides its community with an inclusive range of cultural activities, a state of the art library, a multi-purpose gym and sports space promoting staying active.
The £16m project was secured through LCP Framework for our client, the Royal Borough of Greenwich and is the flagship element of the Plumstead Urban Framework, adopted in 2015. The vision of this framework is to bring enhanced economic and neighbourhood vitality to Plumstead, helping to reach its potential.

SEA, Design Consultants based in London, are highly regarded for their intelligent design to solve complex issues, bringing creative ideas which are simply expressed through design. It is their passion and ability to translate a vision which provided us the platform to create a building contributing to the core of the local community. The judges are made up of some of the industry’s leading professionals, and will be announcing the winners through a virtual awards ceremony on 29th June 2021.
