Alice Groves to complete Apprenticeship Ahead of time
We would like to congratulate one of our team members, Alice Groves, for being near completion of her Level 3 Bid and Proposal Co-Ordinator Apprenticeship. Alice started this in July 2021, and will likely be complete before her Apprenticeship ends in January 2023.
In terms of content, the course is structured around knowledge, skills, and behaviours that have been defined by industry experts as being essential to fulfilling the role. This Apprenticeship’s parameters were defined by large British businesses and representatives from Association of Bid and Proposal Management Professionals UK. A brief overview of what is included in the course content is:
- Knowledge of creating bids and proposals
- What is required throughout the process
- Context of bidding
- Understanding the sales life cycle and how it all fits together
- From opportunity tracking/pipeline
- Customer engagement
- Capture Planning
- Competitive tendering
- Presentations
- Negotiations
- Contract Award
- Implementation and delivery
During the Apprenticeship, Alice completed 10 training modules and a 2-day practical session where she worked with other apprentices with a case study ITT pack to create key bid documents. Next, she will do her final assignment, complete her portfolio and start her end point assessment.
