Supporting Slough Outreach

The cost of living crisis is having an impact on us all. However, those that are most vulnerable are finding even feeding themselves and their own families impossible. Many are now having to resort to assistance from local groups and food banks that they have never had to use before. The increase in demand means that greater supplies are required to deliver an effective service to families in need.

To support this ongoing crisis, our team at Slough has run an appeal to Support Slough Outreach. Slough Outreach is a people’s initiative, set up to help the homeless and vulnerable people in Slough. They are doing a wonderful job providing over 130 meals per day to families around Slough. They are out in the streets serving food most days of the week as well as making food deliveries every day to families affected by the crisis.

The Osborne team is supporting Slough Outreach by donating non-perishable food items from cereals to tins to pasta.  It was arranged for Shin Dhother, founder of Slough Outreach, to come and collect the array of generous donations from the Osborne offices. Shin expressed his gratitude for the contribution that Team Osborne had made over the campaign period.

We want to continue to support this initiative through this difficult time. Our dedicated Social Value Managers, Neal and Sairah, are going to continue to support Slough Outreach in the upcoming weeks by going out with them to distribute food items in central Slough.
