Osborne carry out Overnight M25 Survey Works

Osborne have been carrying out overnight survey works at M25 Junction 8 and the top of Reigate Hill (A217) since mid March, working under temporary traffic management.

Osborne are carrying out these works on behalf of Highways England through the COFA framework (via Connect Plus), and are to inform the design of a possible junction improvement scheme which may go ahead at a later date.

The work which Osborne carried out included: pavement investigation to assess the depth, construction type and condition of the existing carriageway. Drainage surveys to establish the location, type and condition of the existing drainage network and lighting and traffic signal surveys to investigate the location and condition of the existing assets.
