A Wessex Weekend

The One Team Wessex has had a very successful and productive weekends work across the Wessex Region, on the Reading 10 Car platform extensions.
They successfully installed the signalling at the first of ten stations at Egham.

At Chertsey and Sunningdale they installed cantilever beams and associated beams and blocks. They also dug out the Ramp to platform 1 and installed the foundations for the platform extension.

At Virginia Water, the team installed three lift shafts and the steelwork for the stairs, as well as installing the foundations for the signalling equipment and carrying out some pile testing in readiness for the platform extensions.
