Cadogan Estates appoints Osborne

Cadogan Estates has appointed family-owned construction, civil engineering and property services firm Osborne to a £4 million contract involving the refurbishment of two Victorian buildings in Sloane Street, London, which will be turned into commercial properties.

The first building, which is Grade 2 listed, will be used as a medical centre containing treatment rooms, and reception and waiting area. Extensive internal structural work will take place, and a new roof will be added, while preserving the building’s Victorian frontage and external design.

The second building will become a fully serviced office, which will also include meeting rooms. The building will be refurbished to compliment its original design, with some of the original features, including an ornate Victorian ceiling, being re-instated.

Osborne will start work on site in September of this year, with the project set for completion by late 2013.
