Osborne was appointed by the London Borough of Southwark to deliver a new build, 42-bed extra care facility for residents with on-set dementia and other cognitive difficulties that promoted patient wellbeing and quality of life.
The project required a carefully considered design to create a building that would meet the customer’s two core requirements:
- Provide a modern, spacious facility that accommodates for the delivery of the highest possible standard of care, with a building that was sustainable
- Create a safe and secure environment mindful of the complex physical, emotional and mental needs of those with dementia
