Developments Accountant – Group Finance – Reigate

We are currently recruiting for a Developments Accountant to form part of the Finance team based at our offices in Reigate, Surrey. This role will report to the Head of Finance and will be a hybrid position between the Developments business and the Finance team. This role will offer the opportunity to effectively partner with the business to ensure a comprehensive statutory reporting process in line with expected business performance.
This role will involve producing annual statutory accounts and audit working papers, advising on accounting and tax implications for the Development companies, working closely with our joint venture partners to ensure clarity on process, arranging drawdowns for building projects, review of intercompany accounting, production of monthly management accounts, production of monthly balance sheet reporting and reconciliations as well as ad-hoc support to the Operations Finance Director and wider finance team.
What are we looking for
We are looking for an individual with proven post qualified experience (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) from within a finance environment complimented with extensive knowledge of FRS102. Working knowledge within the construction and developments business would be a distinct advantage. You will be able to communicate to all levels to ensure clear flow of communications and influence where required complimented with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Advanced MS office skills are required due to the nature of reporting elements of this role.
