The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor for the Rail division within our Infrastructure business, based at our Waterloo Station site in London. This role will form part of the Wessex framework and will encompass travel to sites from London to the South East/South West. This role will involve carrying out financial and contractual tasks on assigned contracts in line with company procedures to enable cost monitoring, income and cash flow reporting aligned to deadlines. This will encompass developing procurement strategies; produce financial progress reports, subcontract management, supplier payments management, managing financial and commercial expectations, internal and external valuations, risk reviews and managing disputes.

What are we looking for

We are looking for a individual who is a proven Quantity Surveyor ideally with experience of working within the rail sector, you will also have Civils and NEC3 experience. You will have a keen eye for detail and methodical to your approach to ensure commercial aspects are fully compliant. This role will demand clear lines of communication to stakeholders/customer to ensure full flow of dialogue and influence where required. You will ideally be qualified to HNC/HND within a relevant degree and obtain a good working knowledge of MS applications.
