Senior Estimator – Rugby, Infrastructure

Working within our Infrastructure business and supporting our pre-delivery team we are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Estimator. The role will be responsible for producing and managing analytical estimates, which reflect the opportunities and risks contained within the tender documentation with an accurate cost estimate. The role will be required to understand how the customer and their professional advisors operate, and work with them to meet their overall needs in line with our values. The role will also engage in a purposeful and well organised manner with other bid team members including Project Managers, Tender Planners, Design Managers, and Commercial Managers etc. The Senior Estimator will be required to assimilate and summarise information in order that it can be used to effectively communicate requirements to others.
What are we looking for
We are looking for an experienced and progressive thinking Estimator who has worked within an Infrastructure environment, ideally rail and highways. You will also be aware of current construction technologies and methods and how these impact on outputs and costs, understanding the significance of project constraints on cost of delivery. You will have excellent attention to detail, strong contractual knowledge with a natural drive for excellence and the ability to inspire and develop those around you. You will work effectively with people at all levels and be comfortable challenging convention to ensure that we move forward as a business and that we continue to best support our customers through value driven solutions.
