Minor Works create WWII Memorial in honour of the lost children of Surrey Primary School

The Osborne Minor Works team have created a WWII Memorial in honour of the lost children of Petworth C of E Primary School in Surrey.
Many thanks to everyone who recently helped to restore a genuine Anderson Shelter to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Petworth School being bombed,  which resulted in the tragic loss of 28 children, the headmaster and a teacher.

The Anderson shelter was reconstructed in the school grounds, complete with sand bags, bunk beds and benches, to give the children an idea of what it must have been like to live during WWII.

The school, along with the local community are determined that the memory of the lost children will live on.
