Osborne Achieves Excellence in Construction

Full results for the 2014/15 period have once again highlighted Osborne to be achieving an above average score in the construction industry’s Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS).

With an average score for the across the group of 38.8 Osborne is excelling above the latest published industry figure of a 35.7 average for the same period. Figures also show an increase on the overall score of 38.22 for 2013/14.  The CCS monitors against a Code of Considerate Practice, encouraging best practice beyond statutory requirements, whilst looking to improve the image of the construction industry.

Last month, Osborne achieved recognition not once, but four times by the CCS. The four projects scooped Bronze, Silver and Gold in their respective categories.

The projects which Osborne were recognised for are:

  • Chichester Festival Theatre
  • Tavistock School
  • Mayflower Student University Halls

Andy Burrows, Business Improvement Manager for Osborne explained, “We are incredibly proud to have once again achieved an average score way in excess of the construction industry’s average. We will continue to use this feedback from every scheme to deliver even higher standards of work to our customers.”
