Osborne has won the prestigious 2015 Builder & Engineer Awards in the Corporate Social Responsibility category.

The work of the Osborne team in supporting its communities has been recognised as some of the best in the country and this win comes as Osborne complete their attendance the Homes 2015 event at London’s Olympia.

Nick Sterling, Managing Director of Osborne Property Services, said the company’s approach was ‘ground up’, with each contract developing a Community Investment Plan in partnership with clients and residents. These plans are written using the principles set out in ISO 26000: social responsibility.

Nick added: “For us it is passion not pounds that makes all the difference and our team are very much hands on. We are all incredibly proud of the work we do with our community partners.”

Highlights in Osborne’s CSR work in the past year include: training and sponsorship worth £650,000 provided to communities; 5,205 staff hours donated to community initiatives; and 161 community events supported.

This week also saw the customer satisfaction, with services provided by Osborne Property Services soar by a third in just two-and-a-half years. This means Osborne is now ranked on a par with Marks & Spencer (food) and ahead of other well-known companies such as Boots, BMW/MINI, Center Parcs and Virgin Atlantic.
