Osborne Bags its First School Win in Kent

Osborne has won its first award under the Sussex Cluster Contractor Frameworks for a new Design & Build Primary School for Kent County Council. This is the first award for Osborne under this Framework.

This will be the first time that Osborne have built a school in Kent and its valued at almost £5m.
Langley Primary School will be based in Maidstone, Kent, and has been procured alongside two other framework contractors who have won similar projects in Kent.

Osborne will be building the new 2 form entry primary school, which is a two storey building containing a hall, 14 classrooms, admin area, special education needs area as well as a small nursery and community facility.

Guy Dawes, Framework Manager for Osborne said; “In response to the Governments need to build new homes, we are delighted to have been selected by Kent County Council to support the area’s education needs.”

Osborne, who rebranded to a vibrant pink in 2014 in a bid to win more projects, will start the work this autumn and is due to take a year to complete.
