Osborne Progresses Surrey Station Work

Work is progressing well at Horsley railway station as part of Osborne’s One Team Wessex Framework improvements.

With the project beginning in November last year, the team are busy working overnight to replace copers, as well as resurfacing both platforms.  The car park lighting system is also being upgraded with new LED lights to improve energy efficiency, which is being greatly received by the local community. Jan Evans, an East Horsley resident, explained, “I’m really pleased that the station will see some much-needed new lighting – it will benefit many regular commuters such as myself.”

Osborne will also undertake other works whilst they are on site, such as rewiring and upgrading the power supply. The current Heras fencing will be replaced and the team will also re-seed some of the areas around the station car park. The works are due to be completed this Spring.
