Osborne wins Guildford Planned Housing Maintenance Contract

Osborne has been awarded a £2 million contract by Guildford Borough Council to provide planned maintenance to its homes.

The project to install kitchens and bathrooms, and carry out some electrical upgrades, will begin on 1 April and will run for three years.

Depending on work undertaken, the contract will cover some of the 5,150 homes managed by Guildford Borough Council.

Cllr Sarah Creedy, Guildford Borough Council Lead Councillor for Housing and Social Welfare, said: “We are delighted to welcome Osborne aboard. Maintenance of our existing stock plays a key part in continuing to provide high-quality homes for Guildford residents, and we look forward to working with them.”

Nick Sterling, Managing Director for Osborne Property Services, said: “We are very proud to be chosen by Guildford Borough Council for this important project for its tenants. We look forward to getting started and helping Guildford continue to deliver the excellent maintenance service its customers expect.”

Osborne is also carrying out planned maintenance projects for Dacorum Borough Council, Ascham Homes and Winchester City Council.

Osborne will be attending the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) South East Conference & Exhibition, from 3-5 March 2015 at the Brighton Centre.
