Osborne Wins Optivo Repairs and Maintenance, Voids and Major Works Contract

Optivo has awarded Osborne Property Services a contract to maintain their 7,800 homes across Sussex.
The repairs and maintenance, voids and major works contract begins at the end of September 2017, and will run for 10 years with a break after the first four years.

Optivo is a new housing association, formed in May 2017 to bring together AmicusHorizon and Viridian Housing into one organisation.

Osborne Property Services’ team will be based in a newly sourced office on the outskirts of Hastings. It will be shared with the Optivo contact centre team. It will also incorporate a number of hot desks enhancing the true benefits of collaborative working realised through co-location.

Carol Bailey, Managing Director at Osborne Property Services, said: “Osborne is delighted to have been selected from a very strong field for this contract.  In partnership with Optivo we will become truly embedded in helping shape and deliver the exciting plans they have across Sussex. We look forward to working closely with them and seeing the communities of Optivo see real benefit. Optivo recently won the award for Outstanding Customer Service award at the Constructing Excellence Award 2017, and we believe it is an organisation that is truly aligned with Osborne’s vision of delivering a great service to its customers.”

Paul Hackett, Chief Executive of Optivo and Chair of G15, said: “We’ve entered into this long-term partnership with Osborne in order to build on our sector-leading repairs service in Sussex. This will result in on-going benefits for Optivo and, most importantly, our customers.”
