Its easy to overlook – but don’t forget the outside tap

Back to avoiding water damage… but this time, we’re reminding you to look after your outside water tap.

If you have one, it’s unlikely that you’ve been making much use of it during the colder months.  But it can freeze and burst just like your inside pipes.

Making sure your outside tap is lagged before the temperature falls and regularly running a small amount of water through it could help to prevent the damage and disruption that comes with burst water pipes.
